Live SunSmart, formerly the Ray Festa Melanoma Foundation, was founded as a tribute to Ray Festa whose name means “Sun Party”! The Foundation seeks to promote healthy fun in the sun while raising awareness of skin cancer in order to save lives.
Skin cancer does not discriminate against color, race, ethnicity, age or gender. By changing your habits today, you will impact your health for the better and maintain your beauty longer.
Montclair, NJ became the "SunSmartest Town in America" on May 4, 2015 by implementing the recommendations presented in the Surgeon General’s Call to Action and transforming the town to a community that encourages people to live, work and play with a sun smart lifestyle. Montclair, the first SunSmart City, is a model community for the rest of the country to emulate and Live SunSmart will consult with cities and towns across America to help create their own SunSmart City.
By donating to the Live SunSmart Foundation, you are joining us in our mission to spread the word about the importance of skin cancer prevention and education. Early detection saves lives and your contribution goes a long way to help our cause. Please consider supporting Live SunSmart.
