Thank you for making our Evening with Concetta Bertoldi a success
2/26/2014
The little boy who whispers "I see dead people" in the 1999 movie "The Sixth Sense" has nothing on Concetta Bertoldi. A self-described clairsentient, Bertoldi says she can smell, feel and receive mental images from the deceased. They talk to her, too. All of this was evidenced first-hand when more than 100 people turned out on February 6th in Montclair to see Bertoldi headline a fundraiser for the Live SunSmart Foundation.
It was a captivating evening watching Concetta connect with the spirits on the “other side of the veil,” as she refers to it. She was the messenger for survivors young and old - from their husbands, siblings, parents and children—reassuring them all that those who have passed are still a part of their lives. Some participants even broke down in tears of joy as she spoke to their departed loved ones.
Concetta mesmerized the crowd by explaining how she discovered her gift and talked about the skepticism that exists today. It wasn’t until she proved her ability to communicate through stories shared from the Other Side that the nay-sayers were converted to true believers. She describes her ability as a conduit for good and not evil and claims to be highly spiritual rather than religious. She enjoys her role as a medium but doesn’t believe there is anything special about her gift. The ability to talk to the dead, she says, is no different than any other talent, like painting, playing the piano or having a keen sense of smell.
Proceeds from this event went to support the Live SunSmart skin cancer awareness programs. Stay tuned for announcements of future dates with Concetta!
